Why winter here
Taghazout in winter instead of the Landes in a 5 mm wetsuit
Winter is the best wave season in Taghazout Bay: North Atlantic swells arrive regularly and the many spots in the bay mean there is a wave for every level. The water stays around 17–18 °C, compared with about 12 °C on the Landes and Gironde coast, and most days are sunny.
Christmas and New Year at the same price: €470 weeks with Gnawa nights on 24 and 31 December.

- Day 4Tuesday: surf at another spot in the bay depending on the swell.

- Day 6Thursday: surf and growing confidence.
