What to expect in January
January is peak season in Taghazout Bay. Powerful groundswells arrive every few days, and Anchor Point, Killer Point and Panoramas produce the long, world-class rides that bring surfers from all over Europe.
It is the month for experienced surfers, but beginners are welcome too: our coaches use sheltered beaches and the smaller days between swells for lessons. Water is at its coolest, so a 4/3 mm wetsuit is the right choice.
