What to expect in October
October is the start of the winter surf season in Taghazout Bay. The first long-period Atlantic swells wake up the famous right-hand points, while the weather still feels like summer, with warm sun and light winds most mornings.
Crowds are much lower than in peak winter, so this is a great month for intermediate surfers who want their first point-break sessions. Between swells the waves are smaller and friendly, which keeps the beach breaks perfect for beginners.
