Packing for a surf trip to Morocco is simpler than you think, especially if you stay at an all-inclusive surf camp. Here is our complete checklist, based on what our guests actually need in Tamraght and Taghazout Bay.
What surf camps usually provide
At Endless Wave, surfboards, wetsuits and leashes are included in every package, and you can swap boards during the week. You also get towels, WiFi and daily transport to the beach. If you stay with us you can leave the heavy gear at home. See what is included in our packages.
Surf gear
- Swimwear and a rash guard or surf top
- Your own board only if you are an experienced surfer with a favourite shape
- Reef booties if you plan to surf the point breaks
- Surf wax, if you bring your own board
- Reef-safe sunscreen and a zinc stick for your face
Clothes by season
- Winter (November to February): warm layers and a jacket for cool evenings. Water is around 16 to 18 °C, so a 4/3 mm wetsuit is best.
- Spring and autumn: light layers, a hoodie and a 3/2 mm wetsuit.
- Summer: light clothes, a hat and sandals.
- All year: modest clothes covering shoulders and knees for the souks, villages and religious sites.
Documents and money
- Passport with enough validity for your stay, and check visa rules for your nationality
- Travel insurance that covers surfing
- Some cash in euros or dirhams: many small shops and markets are cash only
- A bank card for ATMs in Tamraght, Taghazout and Agadir

- A reusable water bottle
- A universal adapter (Morocco uses type C and E plugs)
